Introducing an exclusive opportunity available to The Towers guests. The New York Palace has designed a unique New York City experience that combines the opulence of a stay in The Towers with the privilege to access Rarities NYC.
Atop a private staircase tucked behind Tavern 51, enlightened guests are savoring rare spirits and sought-after wines and champagnes at Rarities. This lounge offers an intimate setting to escape from the rigors of the day while relishing exceptional and rare liquors.
The Rarities Reserve Package offers an opportunity to sample the lounge’s ever-expanding collection. “We have a good, diverse collection at the present time that can make our guests happy,” said Northwood Hospitality president David McCaslin, “but we’re always looking for something more unique and rare.” Select among sought-after spirits and rare wines and champagnes as you embark upon a sommelier-guided tasting paired with gourmet treats. Pairings include house-made beef jerky, artisan Parmesan blocks and decadent black walnuts. After you’ve imbibed, we satisfy each gourmand with a decadent gift – a fresh-baked Madeline and our signature chocolate bark.
There are a plethora of New York City travel packages devoted to experiencing the city’s best restaurants and bars, but none offer the exclusive access of the Rarities Reserve Package. Every guest of The Towers who books this package holds the key to the city’s best reserves. Allow pre-prohibition era spirits to warm your palate and delight in the selections of our connoisseur’s wine cellar.
Hey Upper East Siders & Fashionistas,
We’re here to report on the most anticipated time of the year. Luxury designers from Hérve Léger by Max Azira to Reem Acra to Badgley Mishka to J. Mendel will be battling it out on the runway while highlighting this season’s fashion trends at New York’s Fashion Week from September 4-11.
In a city that never sleeps, you’ll always want to dress to impress. Shoulder pads will come and go, but class is always in style. Join us for an epic return to where it all started, The Madison Room at The New York Palace.
Now you’ll have the chance to be #SpottedatThePalace on Friday, September 5th from 4 to 7pm or Saturday, September 6th from 1 to 4pm where you and your friends, styled to the nines, will pose as your favorite Gossip Girl characters.
But what’s a complimentary photo op in the historic Villard Mansion without a little gossip over cocktails (or mocktails)? Share your photo in The Madison Room with Gossip Girls globally on Twitter and Instagram by using hashtag #SpottedAtThePalace to be entered to win two cocktails (or mocktails) in Trouble’s Trust and a goodie bag from Pomme Palais, because nothing’s sweeter than fashion at The Palace.
See you at The Palace!
You know you love me.
As Labor Day Weekend approaches reality kicks in and we are faced with the fact that summer will be ending soon. However, at The New York Palace, we see no reason why the end of summer should mean the end of indulgence, enjoyment and relaxation.
Celebrate Labor Day Weekend with us, while taking in a few NYC treasures. Our first recommendation would be to visit the Central Park Conservancy Gardens located at 5th Ave and 105th Street as it is the ideal location for a Pomme Picnic. Be sure to pack whimsical treats, savory items and our summer line of frappes to cool you down. You could also simply stroll the gardens taking in all the history the garden has to offer or just enjoy a fun bike ride through the park.
The next all-day outing could take you to Queens, the home to The US Open, which is one of the most anticipated events of the tennis season. Fortunately, The New York Palace is not far away. The Billy Jean King National Tennis Center is just a short ride from the city by car or cab, or you can catch the E train at 5th Avenue and 53rd Street and transfer to the 7 train in Queens. Stop by Tavern on 51 for a quick cocktail before you leave for the match, or join us in the evening for a comfortable place to recount the day’s events. Tickets are still available for select matches so there’s plenty of time to be a part of the excitement.
The fashion world takes the city by storm with Fashion Week in NYC from September 4th through 11th. Runway shows include the talents of Rebecca Minkoff, Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera, Badgley Mischka and many more. Events will occur at venues throughout the city. Immerse yourself in intrigue as designers show off their most enticing creations. After the runway, join us at Trouble’s Trust where the cocktails are as captivating as the couture you’ve just viewed. The modern design and red lacquer walls create the perfect ambiance to discuss the evening’s most intriguing designs.
Mark the end of summer in New York City with us at The New York Palace. The city is overflowing with possibilities for entertainment and adventure. Just because the hot weather leaves doesn’t mean the excitement leaves with it.
